With a deep understanding of craftsmanship, a skilled eye for design and an innate sense of capturing what you desire, I believe jewelry is so much more than sublime adornment, it nourishes our very souls.
"My mission is to design meaningful jewelry that celebrates you and strengthens your connections to the past, present and future while bringing you beauty and joy.” ~Sarah
Education: A lifelong artist and Virginia native, Sarah EK Muse earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University where she discovered her love of textile design, metalsmithing and jewelry. With her newfound passion for metal, she pursued additional knowledge, learning intricate techniques of jewelry making and design, studying under international master metalsmiths and goldsmiths via intensive workshops throughout the United States. Sarah eventually secured a private internship, refining her skills in classic and modern goldsmithing techniques and instilling in her the value of impeccable craftsmanship and interpersonal design.
In 2009, Sarah’s family moved to their Blue Ridge mountainside homestead and after a brief sabbatical, Sarah re-inaugurated her private atelier, Studio 12 with a new focus to design exceptionally crafted jewelry with an impeccable artistic eye with her new Exploration Series and Bespoke Jewelry Designs for her amazing clients.
After years of continued education and experimentation, Sarah has developed an aesthetic all her own. Her award-winning art works have been featured in various publications and exhibited in galleries and museums and resides in permanent civic and private collections throughout the United States.
